I recorded most of it in my own studio and it was mixed by Michael Rozon, Kenny Lyon, Nigel Godrich and Tony Hoffer. I was in a pretty dark phase of my life when I recorded this record. Motel Room and rainy Night are songs about 2 very close friends that died. North Koreatown is a sentimental ode to the halcyon days of my early teenage years. High Life is the story of an aging fashion model. Trona is about my favorite creepy desert town. Xanax is my little post 9-11 song. Late Night Lullaby was written for my little son. Back to shop |
