Somnambulista, the second Brazzaville album, was also recorded at the SS Clove Factory and produced by Michael Rozon. It was definitely the most difficult album to finish. I think that it is common for artists to completely freak during the making of their second record. I was reduced to tears on more than one occasion and by the end of the mixing I was thoroughly convinced that there was not a single worthy moment on the whole thing. Songs like Old man Dub, Boeing and 3rd and Broadway are portraits of tragic figures from the demi-monde. Sandman is an ode to my dead friend Mark Sandman. Super Gizi is an attempt to capture the feeling of peace that I feel when on a long flight, 30,000 feet above the ocean.
